The Fourth Amendment Is Not for Sale Act and the Case Against Government Spying

Free Press Action expressed tentative support for the bill but called for it to be amended to better support small publishers, ethnic media and community-rooted outlets.

“We’ve been fighting for this moment since well before the Trump FCC threw out strong Title II rules in 2017,” said Free Press Co-CEO Craig Aaron.

Free Press Action’s Jenna Ruddock said that a law targeting one platform violates the First Amendment and limits “essential spaces for people to connect and communicate.”
