There is no question that the American people favor Net Neutrality. They are literally flooding the Federal Communications Commission with pleas for preservation of “the First Amendment of the internet.”

“The existing Net Neutrality protections put internet users in the driver’s seat and keep big cable and phone companies from controlling what you see and do online,” said Free Press Action Fund Campaign Director Candace Clement.

Public-interest groups sent a letter to Congress demanding a clean budget free from ideological policy riders. The letter — which includes more than 50 state and local organizations as signatories — was organized by the Clean Budget Coalition, which is calling on Congress and the White House to pass a clean budget that funds and protects thriving families and communities.
