ABC has finally learned that bullies don’t stop when companies cower in a corner.

Free Press says that FCC Chairman Carr’s proposal would mean more procedural hurdles for those seeking to obtain support through the federal Lifeline program.

Carr wants to scare off those who are understandably afraid that the simple act of applying for Lifeline benefits could result in their unlawful arrest and deportation.

Free speech advocates sounded the alarm over the FCC’s challenge to ABC’s broadcast licenses, with some decrying the move as a threat to the First Amendment and a clear example of federal overreach.

Press freedom advocates forcefully condemned the Republican-dominated FCC for moving to challenge Disney-owned ABC’s broadcast licenses as President Donald Trump again pressured the network to fire late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel.
