WASHINGTON — As the Federal Communications Commission convenes its third public hearing on sweeping changes to the nation’s media ownership rules today in Harrisburg, Pa., the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has called on the FCC to crack down on members of the public who stray from their Designated Market Areas to testify before the agency.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — More than 300 people packed Harrisburg’s Whitaker Center for Science and Arts today to testify about potentially sweeping changes to the nation’s media ownership rules.

COLUMBUS — Federal Communications Commissioners Jonathan Adelstein, Michael Copps and Robert McDowell will visit Columbus, Ohio, on March 7 to listen to local residents’ concerns about media consolidation. This “Town Meeting on the Future of Media” is a rare opportunity for the public to participate directly in crafting media policies that serve their community.
