Courtney executes Free Press’ creative-strategy development and content production with programmatic staff across the organization.

Courtney (she/they) executes Free Press’ creative-strategy development and content production with programmatic staff across the organization. She is a multimedia artist and storyteller with a passion for projects that explore the roots of who we are and plant the seeds of where we’re headed as a society. With several years working in nonprofit communications, they have an eye for elevating content marketing and storytelling efforts through video production, photography and graphic design. She edited Free Press’ Telly Award-winning Reparative Journalism Video Series in collaboration with two colleagues. Previously, Courtney worked as a photographer and videographer and served as an AmeriCorps member for neighborhood-based organizations in Chicago. She holds a B.A. in radio/television/film from Northwestern University. When they’re not working, you can find them plotting their next trip or working in a garden.
