An open letter signed by hundreds of Hollywood heavyweights was recently published opposing a deal that would see the historic Warner Bros. studio swallowed by rival Paramount.

When advertisers drove up to the Paramount lot in Los Angeles for an event designed to showcase CBS’ programing, they were greeted by signs of protest against the David Ellison-owned company’s proposed acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery.
