Vanessa Bell
Vanessa manages engagement and content creation for Free Press and Free Press Action social-media platforms with the aim of supporting the organization’s various digital initiatives. Before joining Free Press, Vanessa cultivated an online community of parents raising multiracial children through the use of social media and digital influence — reaching hundreds of thousands of users to humanize a narrative not previously found in mainstream media. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including The Los Angeles Times, HuffPost and Latina Magazine.
Vanessa holds a B.A. in political science from Loyola Marymount University with a concentration in Latin American studies. Vanessa is passionate about photography, storytelling and how the two intersect to influence and inform culture.
