Happy 5th Anniversary News Voices
In summer 2015, Free Press launched the News Voices project on a wild premise.
News Voices was built on the idea that community organizing could create a new vision for local news — one that centered the voices and experiences of local residents.
This month, News Voices turns five! And the future of our project is bright. We’re humbled by the work of our allies and excited to keep going on the journey to a more just and equitable media system.
