Dayanita works to expand and deepen Free Press’ online presence and engagement efforts by developing digital strategies, messaging, graphics and online events that inspire supporters to take action. She previously worked at Media Matters for America as part of its digital team and produced and created videos, illustrations and other new media critiquing the mainstream media’s coverage of social-justice issues, race and gender. She has a B.A. in art history from the University of California, Davis and an M.A. in international relations & economics from Johns Hopkins University. Dayanita is usually found cuddling her dog, making art, taste-testing her husband’s cooking, practicing yoga or re-reading Harry Potter for the 100th time.
