A judge in Kentucky has upheld a ruling that allowed the governor to seize 141 domain names, which has broad and far-reaching interpretations. The ruling would effectively allow any local law to be used to take possession of any Web site.

In early 2008, Prestonsburg lit up with free Wi-Fi a 2-mile corridor running through its downtown core. As of late March, 2,500 unique users had accessed the service.
