The President created the bipartisan commission to identify ways to improve the nation&amp;#039;s fiscal health.

The corporation said on Tuesday that it was giving &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Frontline&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt; a $6 million, two-year grant that would allow it to expand its investigative programming to a year-round schedule on PBS stations.

Patricia Harrison, CEO of the CPB, says that the public media system is uniquely structured to increase regional reporting.
