John Eggerton&lt;br&gt;Spokespeople for both the FCC and the subcommittee said  they will stream their respective events -- a House Communications Subcommittee hearing July 8 and an FCC forum on the deal July 13, both in Chicago. In addition, C-SPAN will cover the FCC forum, though it will not be live due to conflicts with other coverage.

David Zurawik&lt;br&gt;By the end of the morning session of Sonia Sotomayor&amp;#039;s Supreme Court nomination hearing, a clear pattern ion the coverage had emerged: PBS was doing an outstanding job, while CNN was offering some of the worst and most distracting coverage anywhere on TV or online. CNN seemed to think its talking-head analysts mattered more than what was happening in the Senate hearing room.
