The Committee will consider legislation that would allow telemarkets to set up robo-calls to consumers mobile phones. As a result of this bill, wireless subscribers can plan to face higher monthly cell phone bills as telemarkets eat up their monthly minutes. The bill has the potential to undermine the wildly popular Do Not Track List previously authorized by Congress.
