Request for Extension for FCC Comcast NBC Merger Comments

Letter from Free Press, Consumers Union, and Consumer Federation of America to the FCC requesting a filing extension for petitions to deny, oppositions, and comments regarding the Comcast-NBC merger. The consumer groups are pushing for an extension because the merger involves a significant number of media properties, including more than two dozen broadcast stations that all warrant legal and and market analysis, as well as analysis of the video programming and distribution markets which the merger could significantly impact.
