The goal of Allied Media Projects is to democratize the tools of media creation and distribution and to support others who are doing the same. AMP networks participatory media organizations to provide a clear point of entry to the vast and varied world of grassroots culture. AMP also initiates projects to remove the obstacles that we in the participatory media community all face individually, but that we can only remove collectively.

Through education, organizing and advocacy, we promote diverse and independent media ownership, strong public media and universal access to communications.
