The Future of News

As newspapers continue to shutter bureaus and TV newsrooms cut staff, can new Internet news sites fill in the gaps? What about the future of public media? Robert McChesney, John Nichols, and a panel of leaders will discuss how concerned citizens, journalists and policy makers can work together to support newsgathering in our changing media landscape.

This event is co-sponsored by Free Press, The Nation, the National Association of Black Journalists, Firedoglake.com, and UNITY: Journalists of Color, Inc.
