The 35th Annual Community Radio Conference

The collapse of the economy. The death of newspapers.
The destruction of community. The end of radio? We don’t think so. The NFCB Community Radio Conference is open to anyone who wants to think holistically about how your radio station serves your community.

We see stations thriving as community institutions; we see stations providing real service to diverse audiences; we see new producers creating exciting content; we see “old” media working with “new” technology and reaching younger listeners; we see community radio stations becoming trusted sources of local news and information; we see community radio stations providing critical support for language, culture, and arts.

Let us come together to celebrate who we are and what we’ve done, and to roll up our sleeves for the next challenges coming our way.

The NFCB Community Radio Conference is open to anyone who wants to think holistically about how your radio station serves your community; who wants to do a better job of operating your station; who wants to be challenged by the innovations and good works of other public service media. We offer opportunities for staff development, skill building, networking, affinity groups, inspiration, new ideas, discussions and exchanges. The Conference is a place to connect with peers, get your battery re-charged, and expand your horizons beyond your station.
