Free Flow of Internet Traffic Requires Sensible Road Rules

Some type of control is necessary to keep Internet traffic moving, but free marketeers argue that the government shouldn't call the signals. However, if the current system is allowed to prevail, it will be up to consumer groups to play watchdog with no clear legal framework for identifying violations. Investors and entrepreneurs want legal certainty that their products will work across all networks.
