In a recent interview, Sam Zell admitted that the Tribune deal may have not been the best business decision, "It's certainly the most amount of money I ever lost in a single deal." He went on to say that the entire newspaper industry, including the Tribune Co., has seen a crash in revenue, and that "nobody can survive."
