No TV for Kids Under 2, Canada's Pediatricians Set to Advise

Canada's pediatricians are poised to recommend no screen time for the under-2 set -- a reversal of their long-standing position on babies and television. Earlier this year, a review of 78 published international studies suggested infant TV-viewing can be associated with delayed language, a shortened attention span and delayed cognitive development.
