The FCC should adopt standards that mandate an Internet that is accessible to everyone on the same terms with no legal content blocked, Chairman Julius Genachowski said. The major ISPs, argue that regulation will stifle business and innovation. Genachowski and even his Republican predecessor, Kevin Martin, have argued that the providers will be tempted to impede services that they view as competitors.
