Maryland Public Television Laying Off 10 Percent of Staff

Maryland Public Television said it will lay off 18 employees, about 10 percent of its staff, in an effort to stem a budget shortfall. The positions being eliminated were cut across all levels of the organization and include the technology, content, institutional advancement, communications, and administrative departments.
