The FCC held the first in a series of public meetings intended to guide the agency's work in developing a plan to deliver high-speed Internet service to all Americans. Throughout August and September, the FCC plans to hold about 20 of these so-called staff workshops to flesh out various aspects of the national broadband strategy.
