Murdoch Signals End of Free News

The chairman of News Corp., Rupert Murdoch has announced he is to start charging for news content on the internet. News Corp. owns the Times and Sun newspapers in the U.K. and the New York Post and Wall Street Journal in the United States. The media giant is looking for additional revenue streams after announcing big losses.
