Microsoft-Yahoo Partnership Faces Big Obstacle in Antitrust Regulators

Microsoft and Yahoo finally consummated their on-again, off-again courtship in an online-search venture, saying they were joining forces to battle industry giant Google. But the proposed pact faces tough scrutiny from antitrust regulators, who typically have rejected deals that reduce three major market players to only two.
