New York Times Gets as Much Money from Circulation as from Ads

If current trend lines hold up, circulation revenues at the New York Times will surpass ad revenues for the first time ever sometime this quarter. It's a landmark event, one way or another. It either means the legacy press is going out of business or it points the way toward a new model.
