As Sun-Times Media Prepares to Sell, Employees at Post-Tribune Try to Buy

Twice in the past two decades, the Post-Tribune employees in Gary, Ind., have organized an employee stock ownership plan to try to buy the paper. They were beat out by Knight Ridder and Conrad Black. And now that the Sun-times Media Group is looking to sell the paper again, employees are again trying to make a bid.
