Lawmaker Taking on ISPs' Metered Usage Plans

Rep. Eric Massa (D-N.Y.), announced plans to introduce a bill that would require ISPs to secure regulatory approval before rolling out a pricing model that would charge consumers based on how much they use their Internet connection. Massa's bill stems from a dispute over Time Warner Cable's plans to expand trials of a usage-based pricing model to new markets.
