Free Flow of Information Act of 2009

The Free Flow of Information Act of 2009 (commonly referred to as the "Shield Law"), introduced by Reps. Rick Boucher (D-Va.) and Mike Pence (R-Ind.), would sets standards for when journalists can be compelled to disclose the identity of confidential sources. Free Press is monitoring this bill.
