AT&T to Offer Wireless Services in Chicago Subways

Chicago's subway rail network, the CTA, has approved plans by AT&T to offer cell phone coverage on the Red and Blue line subways for a period of 10 years. The transit authority expects to earn a minimum of $3.1 million over the life of the contract. AT&T is the fourth wireless service provider to lease the subway network.
