Senate Judiciary Antitrust Subcommittee Hearing on Text Message Rates and Wireless Competition

The Senate Judiciary Antitrust Subcommittee will have a hearing on cellphone text message rate increases and examine the "state of competition in the wireless market." The witnesses will include Randal Milch, VP and general counsel, Verizon; Wayne Watts, senior executive VP, AT&T Management Services; Joel Kelsey, policy analyst, Consumers Union; and Laurie Itkin, director of government affairs, Cricket Communications.
