Associated Press Says Scrapers Targets, Not Bloggers

The Associated Press plans to send a scraper-bot onto the Web to find swiped AP content. The news organization insisted it would not be going after bloggers or publications excerpting a paragraph of AP content and linking to the original. The AP admitted to sometimes borrowing excerpts from newspapers to craft their own story.
