Shhhh -- Newspaper Publishers Are Quietly Holding an Important Meeting

There's no mention on its Web site, but the Newspaper Association of America has assembled a discreet meeting in Chicago with top executives of the New York Times Co., Gannett, E. W. Scripps, McClatchy, Hearst Newspapers, the Associated Press, among others. The companies will discuss their own futures.
