As the FCC prepares a national broadband strategy, there's speculation that the agency -- at the prodding of the White House -- will give serious thought to adapting Australia's state-of-the-art network model for the United States. But the idea has already been rejected by the same telecom industry people who deny we are facing a broadband crisis in the first place.
