David Simon, Arianna Huffington and the Future of Journalism

Much was made of the supposed clash between "old-media" David Simon and "new-media" Arianna Huffington at the Senate hearing on the future of journalism. The truth is that both of them are right. Yes, newspapers are dying, and no, Internet journalism is not filling the void. But it might; in fact, it almost certainly must.
