Local Radio Goes to Washington

Lawmakers in Washington, D.C., got a visit -- not from the usual suspects of the telecom giants or the commercial broadcasting lobby -- but from individuals and organizations working to improve information communication, cultural diversity in their media and social justice in their communities. They are asking Congress to put more local radio back on the dial.
