In Long Island, 100 Mbps Broadband for $99 a Month

In response to intense competition from Verizon FiOS broadband service, Cablevision has introduced 100-megabits-per-second service in Long Island. In sharp contrast to those of its peers in the cable business, Cablevision has not announced any plans for metered broadband, and has been consistently offering more speed for lower prices.
