Internet for Everyone Coalition Meeting

On Wednesday, May 13, the InternetforEveryone.org coalition will meet at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., from 12:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., to take the next step toward establishing a national broadband plan. Join us as we come together to develop the next phase of our campaign to create a people-powered national broadband plan.

We will discuss the public recommendations captured over the past six months via the InternetforEveryone.org town hall meetings, a national survey, the video reporting project, and the “Digital Town Hall.” The coalition will identify a national framework and move to the next phase of work: making fast, affordable, open Internet access a priority for decision-makers in Washington.

The coalition meeting will include the same deliberative process that InternetforEveryone.org has used during the town hall meetings. However, the focus of this event will be on next steps for the coalition. This members-only event will feature inspiring speakers and videos, interactive technology, and small-group discussions to allow participants to instantly respond to ideas and proposals.
