How have ISPs responded to public demand for high-speed Internet? By writing a law that would keep the Internet out of people's hands. AT&T and Time Warner Cable are pushing a piece of legislation that would prevent millions of North Carolinians from gaining access to the Internet and take the Internet away from some who already have it.
