Senate Committee to Hold May 6 Hearing on Issues Threatening News Media

Senator John Kerry (D-Mass.), chairman of the Communications subcommittee, has scheduled his first hearing as chairman on the future of journalism and the "issues that threaten today's news media." It will be held May 6. There is no witness list yet, but it apparently will have a newspaper focus.
