A Newspaper Disappears in a Wired Town

In July, the Ann Arbor News will cease daily publication after 174 years. It will be replaced by a Web-based news outlet that will publish a print paper twice weekly -- on Thursdays and Sundays. That news has left many people in this well-educated community of readers unfazed.
