Focus Shifts to Potential Globe Buyers

Negotiations between the Boston Globe's unions and New York Times Co. management could pave the way for an outsider to buy the newspaper. Failure to reach an agreement, given the severity of the financial problems the Globe faces, could lead to an actual shutdown.
