The House Judiciary Committee has once again passed a federal shield law, which will now go to the full House for a vote. The Free Flow of Information Act, which would extend a qualified privilege from testifying in federal court to journalists and their sources, passed overwhelmingly in the House last year (398-21), but got bottled up in the Senate.
