Online Learning a Lifeline in Rural Areas

Online learning offers a lifeline -- especially for rural schools, according to a recent study. The loudest and clearest voices were those of respondents representing rural school districts. In these places, online learning is not simply an alternative, but is becoming a lifeline to basic quality education, the report said.
