Deregulation and Consolidation Have Harmed Telephone and Broadband Customers

A new study says that because of megamergers in the telecom industry, long distance prices have been able to have continuous increases, with few, if any, choices being offered customers. The findings also revealed that, due to faulty state regulation, local service has also had major price increases.
