Low Power FM Bill Would Help Community Radio Stations

Low power FM stations were created by the FCC as a small antidote to the growing concentration of radio station ownership in the hands of a few large corporations. But powerful industry lobbyists got Congress to protect their interests from possible competition. The Local Community Radio Act, just introduced in Congress, could help protect LPFM interests.
