McClatchy to Cut 1,600 More Jobs as Part of Restructuring

McClatchy will cut 1,600 jobs, or 15 percent of its work force, and cut salaries, including for its chief executive, as the company looks to save money and navigate through what it called "an increasingly poor national economic environment.
