Rural Broadband's Struggles

Critics have attacked municipal Internet projects, saying they are ventures better served by the private sector. But commercial operators don't want to lay cable and erect cell towers in the hinterlands. President Barack Obama is committed to wiring rural America. And efforts like the current fiber project in rural Vermont, will play a key role.
