Rupert Murdoch's Announces Peter Chernin Departure in Memo

News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch announced Peter Chernin's departure in a memo, praising Chernin's 20-year performance with the company and saying, "Now is also an ideal opportunity to streamline and enhance many of the corporate and administrative functions of the business."
