Britain Looks to Expand Broadband and Limit Piracy

The British government outlined plans to bring broadband service to every home in Britain by 2012, and proposed ways to curb file-sharing. Proposals include forcing ISPs to become copyright cops and turning over personal details of offenders to music companies, so the offenders could be sued.
